G-Tek Scientific Ltd was established in 1976, whose main business is in semiconductor devices and electronic product assembly.
In the photo device category, photoconductive cells or best known as CdS has been one of our main product lines until when the European Directive of RoHS announced around 2002, whereby
Cadmium is one of restricted elements to be employed. We then endeavor to develop another product line replacing CdS. By the beginning of 2006, we successfully developed a full line of visible light sensor IC with equal or better than CdS in functions and applications.
It is also our intention to further develop with this line of devices into finished products, such as in the security light sensing field. |
