Conaprole in the world
After more than 30 years of exporting, CONAPROLE has become the main dairy food exporter not only in Uruguay, but also in Latin America.
More that 60% of its production is exported towards more than 40 countries from different parts of the globe. Its main markets include: Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Venezuela and the United States, as well as Russia, Japan, South Africa, Chile, Cuba, Korea and Lebanon among others.
Some of the main features that allow CONAPROLE to export worldwide are its strict internal quality standards, the support of doctors and nutritians that work under the regulations, specifications and requirements imposed by the L.A.T.U. (Uruguayan Technological Laboratory).
In addition to the usual MGAP (governmental entity in charge) controls, these strict inspections adjust to the demanding quality standards imposed by foreign buyers. Once it met the global quality standards, the cooperative obtained the ISO 9001: 2001 standard and the HACCP certification. If the buyer requires it, the cooperative is able to reach the Kosher and Halal requirements.
