TS8 is the first mobile terminal-scanner with OLED (organic light emitting diode) display.

Triskan TS8 terminal-scanners can be integrated into different networks with real-time information systems.
TS8 platform supports industry recognized scanning methods; device scalability enables easily change the functionality of the device.
Terminal-scanner is equipped with one of the following information reading module:
1D Laser bar codes reader (supports mostly used codes reading, including EAN, Code39, Code128)
1D and 2D bar and data matrix codes reader with CCD camera
RFID tags reader
UHF RFID tags reader
ChipCard reader
Combined 1D laser bar codes and HF RFID reader.
TS8 platform enables it to be configured as a member of a GPRS network or as a device in a corporate WLAN 802.11b/g/n network. Integrated Bluetooth.
TS8 is equipped with an ergonomic back-lit keypad enabling responsive one-hand operations and enhanced visibility in poorly lit conditions.
TS8 features a standard "slide-and-lock" battery with a built-in charger. A standard 5V wall-mount power-supply is used to charge the 2000mAh battery. The battery can be charged separately or via USB port.
An optional up to 2GB microSD card upgrade enables the TS8 to store and update applications and data.
Triskan TS8 is Linux based device.
The standard device of mobile terminal-scanner Triskan TS8 comes with Piccolink Emulation (PLE) firmware and terminal application compatible with Piccolink protocol.
Application running on terminal-scanner with adopted operation system, starts within 7 seconds.

Triskan TS8 can be supplied with:
Software Applications Development Kit (SADK) - for Piccolink protocol using server's applications development.
Firmware Development Kit (FDK) – for new and fully adopted applications development in Linux environment.
