Product Description:

Air source heat pump is the first of its kind: an intelligent heat pump with weather-dependent regulation. The Dolphin, which has been developed by DUWACO, is the most efficient of all heat pumps and is sustainable too. Connected in series with the DUWACO heat pump boiler, the Dolphin has an exceptionally high Coefficient of Performance (ratio of the useful heat to the energy input, COP).

The heat pump technology of the Dolphin is integrated with a buffer of 300 litre. The unit heats and cools, in a sustainable manner: more than 80% of the energy consumed is extracted free of charge from the environment (from the outdoor air or the crawl space under the floor). Superfluous heat from the DUWACO heat pump boiler is reused.

The system is connected to the underfloor and wall heating. Since an outdoor unit is not required, no holes have to be made in walls and less piping is needed. The Dolphin is, furthermore, very quiet during operation.

The Dolphin is available in one model: the 12-kW versions. The one to choose will depend on the room in which the system is to be used.

The advantages of the Dolphin air source heat pump are as follows:

an outdoor unit is not required;
installation does not require any demolition work and less piping is needed;
quiet during operation; up to 50% more economical than natural gas systems (in combination with solar panels savings may be as high as 85%!);
50% more economical than a system based on ground drilling;
the fact that you no longer need a gas connection yields an additional saving;
highly efficient with a COP of 5.0;no fire or CO hazard;
multifunctional, because the system is connected to underfloor and wall heating and high efficiency radiators;
greatly reduces the emission of CO2 and other harmful substances;
double function: heating in winter and cooling in summer;
2-year manufacturer’s warranty;
the 2-year manufacturer’s warranty can be extended by a maintenance contract of 5,8, 12 or 15 years.
