Australian Eucalyptus Hard wood species, available in the following.
The main species are
Marri
Jarrah
Karri
Tassie oak
Marri Eucalyptus calophylla
Hardwood, occurring in the Jarrah and Karri forest of S/W Australia
ADD 850 kg/m3.
It is a very strong and durable timber,
Uses: flooring, furniture, piles, posts, poles
Has a dark vein in the grain which gives an attractive feature to the timber, it is becoming very popular in quality furniture and flooring

Jarrah Eucalyptus marginate
Hardwood occurring only in S/W Australian,
Timber: tight red wood with strong grain very attractive timber
ADD 820 kg/ m3
Uses Flooring, high quality furniture, panelling, piles, sleepers, joinery.

Marri logs in fitches. Various sizes
Volume to cut 100,000 tonne per year
