They use the FACE value of CMO ($1B) to loan 50% or $500M of their OWN money not a Line a Credit for this transaction, and they can satisfy Banking requirements, since the FACE value of CMO is indeed $1B. They are the ones in charge of this "loan" so they asset manage it in Managed buy/sells, PPP, etc., and of course CMO owner is a 50/50 JV Partner in this Program.
(FYI-Starting March 1st, we will be able to accept SBA CMO's, and not just AAA.
Again, to my knowledge, we are the only ones that can do this.)
