HARSHAD ENGINEERING is India based professionally managed export house and has been engaged in marketing for renewable and non- conventional energy equipment i.e. BRIQUETTING PLANTS for converting agro-forestry waste into Fuel Briquettes/White coal/Bio-coal; Bio-mass based GASIFIER SYSTEMS on turn key basis. We execute complete on-site installation and training facilities.
CONCEPT:
Biomass Briquetting is the process of converting low bulk density biomass into high density and energy concentrated fuel briquettes. Briquettes are ready substitute of coal/wood in industrial boiler and brick kiln for thermal application.
Any type of Agro-Forestry waste can be used. Groundnut-shell, Sugarcane Bagasse, Caster Shells/Stalk, Saw dust, Coffee Husk, Paddy Straw, Sunflower Stalk, Cotton Stalks, Tobacco waste, Bamboo Dust, Tea waste, Soybeans husk, Coir Pitch Barks/Straws, Forestry wastes and many other agro wastes.

Briquettes are widely used for any type of thermal application in different type of industries for steam generation in boilers, furnace etc. It can replace conventional fuels at any thermal applications in various industries like: Ceramic Industries, Solvent Extraction Plant, Dyeing Units, Food processing Industries, Textile Unit, Lamination Industries, Brick making units, Refractory Industries, Chemical Industries, Milk plant, Vegetable plants, Leather industries, Rubber Industries etc. Use of Briquettes as a fuel for energy has shown very promising results; and may eventually replace coal based heat producing systems and furnaces permanently.

SALIENT FEATURES OF PROJECT:
Continuous high production capacity: 900 TO 1500 Kg/Hour. Finished product size: 90mm diameter and 10 to 24 inch length. Finished Product Shape: Cylindrical. Raw Material Form: up to 20 mm size. Very low process/operating cost compared to screw type or hydraulic technology. Heavy structure with proven mechanical design. Low electric power consumption due to direct feeding system.
