RUVOLT’ current and potential
transformers are manufactured
up to 11KV class in oil immersed
/epoxy cast versions and up to
33 KV class in the oil immersed
version. The Types manufactured
are in the measuring and
protective classes to the limits
prescribed in Indian and
international Standards.
Normally, two C.T.’s and one
three phase P.T. is housed inside
a tank suitable for pole
mounting. The line in with such
metering is desired is broken on
two phases which are taken
through CT/PT unit and are
reconnected to the line after this
installation. The Third phase runs
through and only a potential
connection is taken to the CT/PT
unit. All L.V. output terminals of
the C.T.’s and the P.T are
available in a terminal box on the
same tank. Control wires may be
run up to an outdoor Kiosk or an
indoor panel for required
Measurements of voltage,
current, power factor, power and
energy.
‘TRUVOLT’ makes CT’s are SHORT
circuit tested from CPRI BHOPAL

The transformers are
manufactured as per the latest
updated Indian and international
standards. The magnetic circuit is
build up form high quality, low
loss imported cold rolled grain
oriented electrical steel sheets
processed in our modern plant.
Best quality materials are used for
other components in order to
optimize economic and
performance parameters.
‘TRUVOLT’ transformers are type
tested for dynamic sort circuit
withstand test and impulse test
form CPRI BHOPAL.

Non-FLB Transwitch unit

These are specially designed oil
immersed transformers restricted
to specified overall dimensions for
use inside non-gassy mines. The
H.T input is provided with a
vacuum circuit Breaker and
associated protection and
metering circuits. The L.T. side is
designed for a voltage suited to
the mines and as specified. this
side is also provided with
metering and protection circuits
on the L.T. side signals the
H.T.VCB for a trip
